What is an Advent Tea?

An evening for women to relax, visit and focus on the preparation for the celebration of the birth of Christ.  The evening starts in the fellowship hall with time to enjoy checking out the beautifully decorated table the hostesses have set.

We then move into the sanctuary for a short devotional and musical offerings while men volunteers set up the appetizer and dessert buffet. 

 

When we return to the fellowship hall we usually start with a short ice breaker at each table.  The men serve the coffee, tea and punch to get us started and the ladies go pick out their treats.

There is plenty of time to visit while we eat.
